Abstract

The paper describes the problem of mutual understanding from the viewpoint of the sociopsycholinguistic relation aspect. In speech realization the relation aspect corresponds to the dialogical modality represented by its existential, egocentric and interpersonal varieties. The latter is revealed by means of confidential and conflicting styles of speech realization. From the perspective of the transact analysis a search of one’s I-conception determines the style of utterances relating to the ego-states correlating to four psychotypes: Sensing-Judging, Sensing-Perceiving, Intuition-Feeling, and Intuition-Thinking. The mutual understanding of the types given is predetermined by the speed of their mutual decoding.
